Lottie Egbert & Travis Egbert
Location: Oakley, Kansas
It all started back in 2003 when we met each other. Both of us were young and bountiful, we wanted so muc from life then and still do. We met at Job corps and we hitched right off the bat. Travis looking very handsome and smart and sleek with the way he walked and cockiness. Me standing on the outside just happend to be noticed by him. I beautiful and radiant and caring. We fell in love at first sight, and from there on out we stayed with each other side by side. We now have a two year old daughter who is very beautiful and smart and so sweet in her own loving ways.
It was small but injoyable. Inexpensive, but delightful. All of his family showed up, but unfortunately none of mine showed. Shows how much support and care they have. I still love them evne though they didn't come. We had a formal wedding in a court house, and short but sweet. I was in a borrwoed dress and Travis was in his dashing Army uniform. Of course he suffered it was so hot that day but he should have worn the dresws that I had to ware. We thought it was special to us even though it was in a destorted spot but it was small and not loud either. We enjoyed it very much.
The gathering was at Travis's sister Mel's house and we got to met Troy's folks and family. Aunt Mae made the cake and I heloed decorate it. Beautiful topping for it. we also had ounch and a cookout as well. Gary made Ice cream and everyone had brought their own favorite dish from home. it was a joyfull event in the evening. Afterwards, everyone sat around and talked about family traditions and evnts in the past. Funnies and jokes as well. Children played rope the cattle( haystack) and babies cried for not getting what they wanted. Other than that, the occasion was joyful and a never forget momnet in time with all the family around to celebrate a happy couple into the world with peace a prosperity.
Would like to take up the offer that was given by a friend but unable to locate friend at this certain time.
Travis and I appreciate everything that everyone who has ever known us, and to know that we are so thankful for everything that was given to us and shared. Moments like these ones will be remembered in time and laughed at when we have had our fun times, with family friends and others. We look forward to have anyone ask us how we are doing, or where we are at sometimes, or just to check in on us once in a little while. Thank you all again for everything that all of you and then more have done to help us and stick together like glue.
