Our Story

Our Wedding

Rich and I were looking for a warm and homey locaton with some character for our wedding. We didn’t want a hotel ball room or anything like that. What we finally decided on is the Wynbrick Event and Wellness Center in Liberty, Missouri. The WynBrick is a gracious, 78-year-old historic mansion. Harry Truman really did visit here!The Wynbrick provides an exquisite setting for indoor and outdoor weddings and receptions. While it is a smallish venue, there will be plenty of room for all of us to celebrate our wedding.

Parking is limited at the venue. Family, Bridal Party, vendors and those with mobility issues may park at the WynBrick Center. It is requested that the rest of our guests use the Free Parking at Liberty Christian Fellowship Church – 1815 W. Liberty Drive, the corner of Liberty Drive and Conistor. Please park near Liberty Drive entrance to parking lot. Signs that read “WynBrick Event Parking” will be placed on either side of the Liberty Drive entrance to the parking lot. Guests may walk, carpool or be shuttled from this free parking location.

Our Reception

The reception will also be at the WynBrick Center. It will take the staff of the WynBrick a few minutes to set up for the reception. We will be providing a nice menu for lunch as well as soft drinks, coffee, tea, lemonade and punch. As for adult beverages, beer and wine, both red and white, will be chilled and ready for the dancing and celebrating.

Travel Arrangements

What can we say. Late September in Kansas City...there should be no issue with hotel space. We'll work with our out of town guests to ensure appropriate accomodations are availabe.
