How We Met:
Ryan and I met while working togather at the Cotton Patch Cafe' in Denison. Shortly after I started there Ryan was promoted. A few people from work went out one night and Ryan and I started talking and well, we started dating at time.
Our Engagment Story:
Ryan and I went to Chicago after spending time with my family for Thanksgiving in Indiana. On Sat. November 24,2007 we were walking through Millinium Park after having dinner. We stopped by the outdoor iceskating rink, we spoke earlier about skating and we both thought it was a little to cold for that now. We are now standing at the overlook to the rink and everything is a soft glow of orange and yellow, due to the Christmas lights that are in the trees and around the park.
Ryan tells me that he has bought something for me. First I must tell you that where we were staying in Chicago was surrounded by jewlery stores. Ironicly the street was also called "Jewlers Row". By now I have pointed this out to him a thousand time and dropped the hint that we could go look at the rings.
So when Ryan pulls out the little black box and opens it, showing me what he has bought for me. The first thing out of my mouth was, and I quote "Thats Fake". To this day I can not believe I said that. He poceeds to tell me NO and how much he loves me, then ask if I would marry him. Of course I tell him YES as I am now crying.
